Just minutes from downtown St. Louis and in the shadow of the arch,
Gateway International Raceway's multi-purpose motorsports facility
is located at the intersection of Interstate 55-70 and Route 203
in Madison, Illinois.
Historically a major transportation hub and jumping-off point to the
Western U.S., St. Louis is located on the Mississippi River in eastern
Missouri. Centrally located to a marketplace of more than 18.5 million
people and within easy commuting distance of major mid-American cities
such as Chicago, Indianapolis, Memphis and Kansas City, its famed
Gateway Arch overlooks Gateway International Raceway, just across
the river from St. Louis in Madison, Illinois.

Gateway International Raceway Traffic Plan Highlights
Coming to Gateway:
BLUE LOT -- Take I-55/70 to Exit 4, take Route 203, and
take the south turnoff toward Fairmont City. You will be redirected
to Route 203 North at a temporary turnoff near the intersection
of the ramp and Collinsville road, and asked to stay in the right
lane going into the Blue lot. Coming South on Illinois Route 203,
you will turn left at Ohio Street to thelot.
ORANGE LOT -- Take I-55/70 to Exit 4, take the exit and then go south on Route 203 to Collinsville Road, taking it west turning right onto Kenny Bernstein Blvd., taking you past the GIR Drag Tower to Orange West parking.
BROWN LOT -- Take I-55/70 to Exit 4, take Route 203 North,
and stay left in order to turn onto the track grounds at the Ohio
Street light. At the track entrance, you will be directed left,
either to Brown South or the infield, depending on your parking
location.
RED LOT (Used only on Race Days) -- Take the McKinley or
Poplar Street bridges to Illinois Route 3 and follow the signs to
Big Bend Road. Turn onto Frontage Road and the entrance to the lot,
near the entrance to Gateway National Golf Links. The lot is also
accessible from Illinois Route 203 North or South.
If you do not have a pre-paid parking lot assignment, you will
be directed first to the Blue lot, and then to another lot if Blue
is full. It is STRONGLY recommended that you pre-purchase your parking
to avoid delays getting to the facility.
In case of inclement weather, Red Lot traffic will be diverted
to another lot.
When leaving Gateway:
BLUE/BROWN LOTS -- exit south on Illinois Route 203 to the
I-55/70 exit.
ORANGE - -exit at Southwest end of Gateway property onto
Old Route 40, and on to I/55-70.
RED LOT -- exit on Big Bend Road west to Illinois 3 and
either the McKinley or Poplar Street bridges.
